Multiple IVF Failures Treatment
Under What Circumstances Can Multiple IVF Failures Be Diagnosed?
Clinically, if a patient has undergone three or more IVF attempts without achieving pregnancy, it is termed “repeated IVF failure.” Currently, it is considered that if a patient has cumulatively transferred 4-6 high-quality embryos, or 2-3 blastocysts, and still cannot achieve pregnancy, they can be diagnosed with repeated implantation failure.
Causes of Repeated IVF Failure
Embryo Factors:
- Poor embryo morphology scores
- Abnormal embryo growth speed and timing
- Embryo chromosomal abnormalities
Uterine Factors:
- Uterine cavity issues, such as polyps, submucosal fibroids, intrauterine adhesions, endometritis, and other lesions
- Hydrosalpinx (fluid in the fallopian tubes)
Immune Factors:
- Immune abnormalities
- Coagulation abnormalities
Psychological Factors: Studies have shown that patients with excessive psychological stress have significantly lower IVF pregnancy rates compared to other patients.
Other Factors: The pathology of repeated IVF failure is complex. In addition to the factors mentioned above, there may be other unknown factors contributing to the failure.
RGF Treatment Approach
Advanced Embryo Laboratory
The hospital has an independent embryo laboratory with “Class 1000 laminar flow and 100% operational standards.” The laboratory director has over ten years of practical experience and has previously established a cytogenetics laboratory. The blastocyst formation rate exceeds 60%, reaching international levels.
Advanced Genetic Laboratory
RFG Hospital owns an independent genetics laboratory capable of independently performing PGS testing. It is the first institution in Southeast Asia to adopt NGS technology for third-generation IVF treatment.
Advanced Medical Equipment
Equipped with a powerful diagnostic platform from American company Illumina, the hospital has a new generation sequencing laboratory with independent operation capabilities, including Karyomapping technology, which can screen for multiple single-gene genetic diseases.
Optimized Reproduction
RFG Hospital has further introduced pioneering blastocyst chromosomal screening technology (NICS) and pre-pregnancy genetic testing projects.
Personalized Treatment Plans
Clinical doctors tailor personalized treatment plans based on the different physical conditions of each patient, moving away from a “one-size-fits-all” approach.
